I started this business because it became my truth. I was living above my means and check to check. I was $127,000 in debt and did not know what to do or how to get out of the financial hole I put myself in. In 2008 with two young children, I lost my income as a real estate agent when the market crashed. I filed for bankruptcy, my car was repossessed, I foreclosed on 2 properties - one of which was my primary home. I lost everything and had no knowledge of how to get back on my feet. I was scared and ashamed. I held in all my emotions and did not let anyone know what was going on because I was the rock everyone depended on, so I needed them to believe I had it all together. Well the walls came crumbling down and my truth was exposed “I was living a life of lies.” While today I am officially out of debt it wasn’t easy getting to this place without a plan, so I created my own which is what I will be sharing with you!
